Love of Leaves for Shut-Ins

I designed this card using the leaf from yesterday’s card. The Love of Leaves Bundle is awesome because it leaves behind a stitched edge on the reverse piece and has a stitched pattern for the interior of the leaves. You can use them together or make two cards from one pass through the Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

GDP#235 Easter and Iris Fold Baby Card

My niece is expecting her second son any day now. I’ve had iris folding on my mind today so I thought I’d play around with the technique and create a sweet baby card to send out this week. Isn’t the bunny just the cutest? He’d make a great Easter card also. I think I’ll submit it to the Global Design Project Blog for this weeks GDP#235 challenge. If you haven’t done an Iris Fold card before here are the instructions for this card and the pattern. Hope you will give the technique and the GDP#235 a try.
