Elements of Style

This card honors a dear friend who has blessed my life in so many ways, love you Jeanette!

Creative Tips:

1. The cracked glass technique really shows off the beautiful flower image in the Elements of Style Stamp Set. This is a new set coming with the Summer Mini Catalog May 1. Stay tuned there are more on the way.

2. A scalloped border is easy with the help of the Scallop Edge Punch, a Bone Folder, and a Crimper. Scallop a 1″ x 12″ strip of card stock, distress it with your bone folder, and then run it through the crimper. The material will be soft and pliable, enabling you to wrap it around the oval with ease. Sticky strip is attached to the outer edge of the reverse side to hold the scallop in place.

3. The 1″ Rose Red Double Stitched Ribbon is used to tie the yummy bow. It was attached to the card with a Pop-Up Glue Dot.
