Scoop of Orange Sherbet

This is a sample made with a new set coming out in the Summer Mini Catalog called Sweet Scoops. I received it Friday and could hardly wait to begin playing around with it.

Creative Tips:

1. The orange sherbet scoop was stamped with Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink and covered with Crystal Effects. A Stampin’ Dimensional added just the right punch to make you wanna bite right in.

2. The Welcome Neighbor Paper stack from the Sale-A-Bration brochure and the 3/4″ Circle Punch created a festive birthday background to compliment the scoop.

3. The addition of the border completed the circle theme. It was done using the Scallop Edge Punch and the Crop-A-Dile. Just nest the smaller circle in each scallop and punch.

  1. Dacia, how did you get a stamp set out of the summer mini so soon? I love your yummy looking CE sherbet cone. Your circle theme was used beautifully. TFS…..again please let me know how you got your stamp set…

  2. I just spent the last hour enjoying your blog! You have some beautiful cards–I will come back often. I have a cooking blog but maybe I’ll put some cards on as well. I have been a SU Demo for 5 years. I don’t do much due to health problems. Your blog has inspired me! Thanks.
