This is my first try with the new Sweet Pea Stitched Felt. What do you think? I learned to make the flowers today following this helpful tutorial.
Creative Tips:
1. The flower was made using the lovely Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon. I’m lovin’ this stuff.
2. The Sweet Pea Stitched Felt circles and leaves coordinate beautifully with the Designer Series Paper Stacks from the Occasions Mini catalog and the sale-a-bration brochure. What a way to bring in spring!
3. The Whimsical Words stamp set is my favorite offering in the sale-a-bration brochure! The meaningful greetings can be used for any event. Even better, it is free with a $50.00 purchase.

This is lovely!!
Oh my! This is absolutely GORGEOUS!! I love every little detail — especially that ribbon flower!
ooooooh! So pretty! I absolutely love the flower! Thanks for adding the link to the tutorial – I can’t wait to make one (although I am sure it won’t look as good as yours!). Nicely done!
This absolutely beautiful! I love the creativity, and the horizontal DSP placement on the round base. Can you tell me what you used as your base? I can’t really tell the size…is this the circle scallop Bigz die? Or something else. Might have to case this one. 🙂 TFS
Angela, the base was created using the Scallop Circle Bigz die from Stampin’ Up. It is a great die and I use it quite often. The layers were cut using the Circle Scissors Plus measuring 4″. Hope you’ll give one a try.
