Challenge 26 at Late Nite Stampers this week is a color challenge of red, white, and blue. I began with the idea of creating a patriotic card. Half way through it changed, and I ended up with an Anniversary card. Guess a little love is in the air. Hope you enjoy. Try to celebrate the fourth with a few loved ones and a sparkler or two!
Begin with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ card base of Night of Navy and fold in half. Cut Shimmer White to 3″ x 4 1/2″ and layer 2 7/8″ x 4 3/8″ piece of Real Red cardstock. The hearts are chipboard and covered in White Craft and Dazzling Diamonds. The sentiment is from Short and Sweet and is embossed in white on Night of Navy. It is finished off with a Shimmery White scallop oval centered. Attach the finished piece to the card base 1/2″ from the top and sides.Card Recipe: Stamps: Short and Sweet Cardstock: Night of Navy, Shimmery White, Real Red Ink: White Craft Accessories: Scallop Oval and Large Oval punches, White embossing powder, Heat tool, On Board chipboard, Dazzling Diamonds, 2 Way glue pen
This one would make a great July workshop card. Have fun and happy stamping,
