Here’s today post for the soldier project. All of the cards are now designed, cut, and prepared for Saturday. Whew!!
Thanks goes out to several wonderful stampin’ friends. My sister line, Sabrina Earls was a great help with the details for the final card. Evelyn Reedy helped with several cards. She is a whiz with the Big Shot. She had flowers spitting out by the hundreds. She can also cut ribbon and stamp like a pro! This was her first event and she jumped right in with so much enthusiasm and energy. She was a lot of fun! I could not have done this without my daughter lines Gay Morris and Judy Greene. They have been awesome! Gay has spent many hours right by my side, praying, cutting, stamping, laughing and sharing loads of cheer. We are all looking forward to the weekend with anticipation for a great outpouring of love and kindness through this endeavor as we touch lives with a simple handmade card. We hope you will join us in the effort. Well here is the next one…

Well I hope you have a grand week and looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.
Today’s post uses the MOJO77 card sketch. The weather here in Clemmons, NC is beautiful. Looks like a warm spring day. If I didn’t have so much to do for the card making event this weekend I would be out playing. Hope the weather holds out for me. I should be ready in a couple of days.
Well here’s today’s creation…
This one begins with a Barely Banana base. The next layer is Tea Party and Sweet Always trimmed with Regal Rose. The focal flower is from Petal Pizzazz and is stamped in Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, and Certainly Celery. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations and is stamped in Basic Black. The ribbon is So Saffron from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.
Wishing you a blessed week full of sunshine and a warm breeze on your face.
I’m half way there. It is all down hill from here. This beauty uses the free ribbon from Sale-A-Bration. Creating with free stuff is always more fun! Place a $50. order during the month of March and this free ribbon could be yours.
The card base is So Saffron. The next layer is Real Red trimmed in Chocolate Chip. The focal point is stamped in Old Olive, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip and Real Red using the Itty Bitty Buds set. It is a hostess set and one of my favorites. Host a workshop and it could be yours. The sentiment is from Bloomin’ Beautiful and the ribbon is So Saffron. The flower is raised with a stampin’ dimensional.
The very first time I stamped, we created a card using custom stamped designer paper. After that one, it was all down hill, and today I’m a distributor. This one is in honor of the down hill slide. Have fun and happy stamping.
Here’s another one for the soldiers. I’m having a great time coming up with designs for this project. Old Olive is one of my favorite Stampin’ Up colors, and daisies are one of my favorite flowers. What a winning combination. I hope you like it as much as I do. It sure was fun to make.
Old Olive is the base. The daisies were stamped in Basic Black craft and embossed with clear embossing powder. The next layer is Kraft with a Baja Breeze scallop border at top and a black ribbon at bottom. The flower was from the Boho Blossoms punch with a black brad. The sentiment is from Holidays & Wishes.
Hope your day is grand!
I have been working on the Mother’s Day card project for the soldiers this week. This is the third design. I wanted something really simple and elegant. This would make a great card to send home to a wife on Mother’s Day.
The card has a Whisper White base. The next layer is Pink Passion. I embossed the flower from Doodle This in white and added the pearls from the Pretties kit. The sentiment is from Baroque Motifs. The second layer is attached with stampin dimensionals. What wife wouldn’t love to receive this one from her soldier on Mother’s Day? Hope you enjoy and have a blessed day.
Having a starting point makes creating so much easier. My hats off to the MOJO girls for the awesome card maps each week. Well here’s number two for this week. I’m getting a head start on Easter. I just love this little chick! Wasn’t he sweet to bring me flowers? Better yet, maybe I should share a few with the MOJO girls.
The card base is So Saffron. I used the Tea Party DP and matted with Almost Amethyst. The focal point was stamped with A Good Egg and Sweet Stems. I popped up the flowers and half of the egg. The chick is covered in Dazzling Diamonds. The ribbon is So Saffron and comes from the SAB ribbon bundle. The edges were sponged in Whisper White.
As always, this is a Stampin’ Up only card. Sale-A-Bration ends March 31. Hurry on over to my website and get your “A Good Egg” Easter set, some Tea Party DP, and a little free ribbon and create this beauty for yourself. Hope you have a great week!
