Doing the Color Challenge

Today has been a crafty Tuesday. There is nothing better than stamping with a wonderful friend. We spent the morning creating sympathy cards. I then spent the afternoon doing the Color Challenge #210 on SCS for the first time. I can always use Birthday cards.

I wasn’t quite sure of the colors at first. I wouldn’t have chosen this one on my own. Although, I do like how it turned out. I guess that is what a challenge is all about, stretching your creative juices. Hope you enjoy…

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Upsy Daisy, Sincere Salutations
Paper: Kraft, Riding Hood Red, Black, Good Morning Sunshine & Bella Rose DP
Ink: Basic Black Craft
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Piercing Tool, Dimensionals

This one was a basic color blocking technique. The clear embossed blooms add sheen to the card and draw your attention.

Happy Tuesday!
